| My Room by Me |

My room is brill *wootage*. Got a huge desk for my PC and just got the net connection sorted its very fast. I have a shower, toilet, sink in my room well u go through a door but its all mine! Right next to my pc under the desk is my beer and wine fridge but still not found a food fridge apart from the one in the kitchen. People in Sunderland dont drink its random as im only 20secs walk from the bonded warehouse :) From my window i can c the sea, my dept, and the bonded warehouse its is very cool :)
Started induction week, had a brief welcome thingy but got team building tom should be fun oh saw stephen, mark and young dave today in the manor quay as usual. Still need to sort out gym and german lessons but hopefully get that done thsi week sometime. Well now im in Sunderland loads of stuff i should be doing i think.
Oh just got that email u sent ages ago Ian about knoppix. Well done man, so u still around uni then? |

Well been out here for 3 weeks now.
I got into Spain fine had about a week going round there anti clockwise via portugal. Got pissed off with spain as trains are so busy and slow, so missed Malago and Morroco as didnt want ot spend too long in there. Barcelona is cool btw met a couple of italien guys, dutch guy and another english guy and we all went out. Met 4 croatian girls and some other randoms way cool didnt get back till 5am and that was early for Barcelona.
I then went a to Nice then into Italy. Went down italy doing tohe sites and then to Palermo in Scily. The weird thing was on th eway back the train goes on the ferry so i though oh i'll get off and have a look around. Then as we begin to dock i run downsatirs and jump on the train. After searching the train for my luggage i relise im on the wrong train Doh! Jump off an ask the boat guy and he points to a train pulling out. So the chase was on( the train was heading to Rome btw) so i basically jumped on another which was going the same way and caught it at the next station.
I the heading to the east coast of Italy and got the ferry to greece. Met a hot NZ girl and there and spent a few days with her in greece. I then headed up through northern greece to Sofia the capital of bulgaria. Bulgaria is sooooo cheap like $1.50 for a McD's and 30p for 500ml of Amstel :) Sooo nick and the 2 other english guys i met on the train drank a few beers then i headed off to get the train to Istanbul ( in my semi drunken state) Got a sleeper and bascally passed out at 9pm to wake up in Istanbul in the morning. Spent the day in Istanbul. The Blue Mosque is amazing btw. found a net cafe/ kebab shop :) Then jumped on the train to Bucrest met a really nice an hot german girl on there and she was heading to budapest. She persuaded me that burcrest isnt nice as is full off beggars and noting really of interest. So i upgraded for seat class and moved into the sleep cabin with her. It was really cool as on the entire carriage it was just me an her plus the cool conductor who gave us some random hungarian drink a bit like ouzo. There was a problem with the train and we were told we had to sleep on the train in the station well actaully in the depot. So we told the conductor we had to go get some food (and beer :) and headed off the 1km distance to the station in the middle of the night. While walking down the tracks we were stopped by some peeps who worked there and they said wait here and u can take a ride on the next train ( all done via hand signals and gestures as we were in romaina at the time) So they put us on a kinda cattle wagon and sent us off to the station.
On arriving at the station we got cash ( 1M lire which is about $20 )and headed off to the pizza resturant and shop for beer. Meanwhile unknown to us the train was moving it was suppose to be in the depot till 6am when it would get back underway but... for some unknown reason in was now in the station and the conductor was searching for us. well he found us just in time and we got on and headed off. So another near miss with the buggage.
Spent the night drinking beer and then the afternoon drinking beer and eating cold pizza. Saska continued on to Berlin were she was meeting her dad for the day and has a flat. She gave me her number etc and told me to contact her when i arrive in Berlin on Fri. Woot free accom! There isnt anything going on that i know of :( not tried anyting anyway maybe in Berlin :P.
Got off the train in Budapest looks a really nice city. Most of the hostels where booked up so ended up here in Uni accomodation. But good free internet so pretty good. Had to get cash out of the machine when i got here but did a miss calc on the exchange rate. I thought the hostel was 49K hungarian thingies so got out that plus 20 extra for food. it turns out the hostel was 4.9k and 1 K is about 3 pounds. so im walking around with about 210 quid in my pocket ! umm need a bank i think.
Just been to McD's cost 900 for super size Big Mac so about 3 pounds its still cheap but it aint 1.50. Not been out for beer yet but maybe ill ask the once again very attractive finish girl i met while trying to find the hostel :) So many attractive girls here in Hungery in general its amazing.
So tom im looking round here and then heading off to Prague heard Bratislava wasnt too nice do give that a miss and spend and extra day somewhere else. eg recovering from Prague. Im flying out off Denmark on tues so got 7 days to mess around. I'd definitly reckomend Bulgaria to anyone its a really nice place and some nice post commism traits. Also its soooooooooo cheap cost me 60p for a museum entry 150p for mcds 30p for 1/2 litre of beer. Wow its cool. I calculated if u work in the uk for a week earning min wage u could live out there for a month comfortably.
Its been really hot up to a few days ago kinda been around 35 degrees soo nice and brown now but smelly as only got 4 changes of clothes and managed to wash them once.
Ok sorry guys cant be arsed to read through this lot to see if it makes sense i assume it doesnt as its written by moi. hope u are all well and having fun.

Well off travelling for a month on tues. Its so badly planned, well by planned ive got a hostel pass, a rail ticket and a one way flight to Barcelona. From there on is anyones guess. Still have to sort out things like travellers cheques and pack my rucksack. I decided to travel light and smell as im going on my own. So 3 or 4 tshirts and changes of underwear will do me for month, not taking stupid stuff like sleeping bags etc its going to be hot and in sweden i intend to find a nice young lady to keep warm with if needed. I've decided on a direction atleast. I land stay in B for 1 whole day then move to malaga where i try to find a way to cross the river/sea thingy to morocco form there its casablanca need to find a piano playing blackman called sam and take a pic. The Portuagal -> south of france -> italy -> sicily -> greece - > turkey -> the random countries like bugaria crotia etc. -> this is where it goes hazy. Dependant on time at this point ill stay around Belguim Germany etc as there is large beer festival in brussels in early september. If im on time ill do sweden denmark etc. Then end up in Amsterdam for the ferry back poss if i cant think of any other way home. I'll prob be too stoned at this point to move and miss the ferry ;) |

Well the Pip thing is over atleast for quite a while. She don't want a boyfriend atm so I have to move on and start pulling other girls. I told her i needed to stop seeing her as saying good bye each time gets worst each time. Atleast I know i will def c her again at somepoint as basically her best friend is going out with my best freind and they are prob going to get married soon. I dont know what to do with myself atm i feel derailed, but do have a shitty job in a door factory warehouse so i can buy shit i dont need. One random thing i noticed is when i get nervous talking to girls i start speaking in song lyrics.
Oh well I have 2 parties to go to this weekend maybe there will be hots girls there cant lose my reputation over this girl. Then hopefully next week im booking my flight to Paris and interail tickets. I'm still planning to go on my own unless anyone specifically wants to come.
Ive prob wrote a load of rubbish but im cant be bothered to read it through as been up since 5am and rather sleepy. |

Well last night went with my bro to the Corporation in Sheffield. Its pretty huge and the music is great some kinda classics that remind me of going out when underage as most of the people there were doing. It was 50p a shot of vodka plus mixer so drank vodka and iron brew to start with. The vodka was minging so switched to brown ale :) Then after the club went to the burger van and forced to guy to make me double cheeseburger instead to 2 cheeseburgers, he just didnt understand how important it is. I then pulled down a sign attached to a lamp post, folded it up, stuck it under my jacket and climbed into the taxi.
Pretty sad cos Mark after coming back down from Durham has decided not to stay around in sunny Barnsley and has moved down to work on an organic farm in somerset. The farm is full of crazy people including :- a girl called venus that married her dog last week and one of the best is the guy that carved a hole in huge pile of manure and now lives in it.
Trying to sort out a job still as need money for travelling. I'll prob end up working at Premdor the uks' No 1 door factory :( oh well only going to work there a few weeks as interailing will take place. My plan is atm mid Aug fly to Paris then stay there a day prob, then head off down the west coast of france into spain. Do the sights in spain the across the south of france into Itlay. I fancy a week just in Italy. Done many places here b4 but would like to have a few days in tobolle in the lakes as in Aug there is a big windsurfing gathering and its were i learnt. After that head to greece , turkey and then up through the random countries into Germany, prob have a week here then if i have time Denmark Sweeden , Norway, Finland. I just thought i need to work out how to get back as decided to fly because its very cheap i think i can get to Paris for about a £10 single. I'm off on my own as atm lots of things stressing me and need to clear my head :) But basically if anyone wants to come along they would be welcome but im not actually going to ask peeps. I'll shut up now, this is my longest post so far.
Well back to being hungover and trying to eat this cheese sandwich.
p.s. Suzy i'll send u a message when i figure out how to :P btw im nick, mark the alto sax players housemate. U prob saw me at gigs as i was the twat at the front off his face dancing like a spider on speed. |
